Although it can be hard to let go of Summer, Autumn is now here with its own fantastic atmosphere! From Halloween celebrations, crisp mornings and falling leaves to simpler pleasures like wearing a woolly hat and drumming up those taste buds with a little Pumpkin Spice – Autumn has a lot to offer. Though hidden in a pile of conkers and leaves there is one festival that we’re particularly fond of and that’s Oktoberfest!
With quality food, beer and a great spirit there’s no excuse not to get involved! Every year Munich, Bavaria draws in some six million people for their annual celebrations, one of the most popular in the world. Nonetheless, Munich is a bit far for most, so lets maybe concentrate on some events a bit closer to home.
The energy of Oktoberfest has been recognised worldwide and therefore you can usually find venues popping up within manageable distances. Quality beer, smoked sausages, roasted meats, and pretzels can all be found at what is a brilliant tradition with a rich history. Make sure to rally family and friends alike and get down to a festival near you!
